Use simpleDB as the backend database

Remove MySQL from the head node and use Amazon's simpleDB as the backend storage engine.

    Based on the performance of SimpleDB this far, I would not suggest using it as the database backend.

    Also, the use of a common database backend will be an issue when trying to have multiple head nodes running at one time to do multiple analyses.
