Make 'New ****' links more obvious

The text links to New Job, New parameter File, etc are rather inconspicuous on their respective pages. The most likely reason that people visit these pages is to click these links so we should make it easier to do!
How about creating a button using the same/similar style to amazon's console buttons (see attached image)? These would be familiar to people from the console and would indicate a link to be clicked to make something happen. They would stand out more on the page, making it much more obvious what the intended action was on each page.
